Allan Bourke has over 30 year experience with multiple graduate degrees in Physiotherapy graduate (1978) Manipulative Physiotherapist (1982), Acupuncturist (Diploma Acupuncture 1984) & Sports Physiotherapist (1994).

Professional highlights include; physiotherapist for the Australian Rowing Team (1994-2000), International regattas, World Championships & Olympics (1996,2000). A Consulting physiotherapist for the Australian Canoe/Kayak Slalom team (2001-present) and assistant Physiotherapist to the Penrith Panthers Rugby League team (1991-1995, 2003-2006).

Allan’s areas of clinical expertise are spinal function (acute, chronic, surgical spine disorders), headaches, neck pain and, TMJ (jaw) disorders, musculoskeletal acupuncture and optimal physical function for an active life for all ages.

Rob is a Sports Physiotherapist with a special interest in lower limb mechanics. Rob uses a whole body integrated approach to physical treatment with an aim to ensuring that everybody functions at its optimal level. He has been a physiotherapist since 1987 and is a founding partner of Penrith Physiotherapy Sports Centre. He was the club physiotherapist for the Penrith Panthers Leagues Club from 1998 -2003.

Rob is involved in providing education to post graduate medical students at the Sydney University Clinical School.

Rob is a cycling enthusiast and regularly participates as a not so elite athlete in cycling events.

Emily completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney. She has undertaken further post graduate studies in Womens’s Health, ConnectTherapy and DMA Clinical Pilates.

Emily treats all musculoskeletal disorders however has a special interest treating pre and post natal women, runners and dancers.

Emily is involved in tutoring post graduate medical students in Musculoskeletal Examination through the University of Sydney.

When she’s not at work Emily can be found running through the Blue Mountains with her Weimaraner Charlie

Jared is an enthusiastic physiotherapist who particularly enjoys helping regular people do amazing things! He treats both musculoskeletal & sports and vertigo, dizziness & balance.

Whether you’re a recent retiree who wants to run a half marathon or a hard working tradie who wants to keep up with the kids – Jared can help you to reach and sustain those goals.

As one of the few ConnectTherapy trained physiotherapists in Australia, Jared has particular skill at putting together the whole story and seeing how a wide range of factors may be impacting on your lifestyle goals.

In his downtime Jared can be found digging the record crates for hidden gems, playing the piano and hitting the trails on his cross bike.


Emily Healey

Paediatrics and Developmental

Emily Healey graduated from Sydney University with a Masters of Physiotherapy. Her passion has always been working with children and as such has spent the entirety of her career working with the paediatric population. She is presently undertaking her titling to become a titled paediatric physiotherapist under the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She is set to become one of the first in Australia titled under this new program.

Emily has previously worked in the tertiary acute care setting at The Children’s Hospital Westmead but prefers to work in the community with families and their multidisciplinary teams. She is a local provider for paediatric physiotherapy and early intervention services under the NDIS and Betterstart initiative. Emily can see children of all ages and abilities and strives to provide evidence based care to all her patients. Her success is reflected in the many paediatricians and GPs that refer to her in the area.

When Emily isn’t in the clinic working, you will find her exploring the outdoors, being active and catching up with friends at foodie hotspots!


Megan Tomkins

Megan graduated from Macquarie University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy following a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the Australian Catholic University.  She has a great interest in treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries as well as Clinical Exercise through the DMA Clinical Pilates framework.

She runs Clinical Exercise classes every week at the practice which make use of her DMA Clinical Pilates training.

Megan is the team physiotherapist for Blue Mountains Netball Club.  She has a special interest in young athletes particularly prevention of acute lower limb injuries such as ACL and ankle sprain

In her spare time, you will find her out running and training for half marathons, playing netball and enjoying time with friends and family.

Declan graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2009. Since graduating he spent a few years working at a private practice in the Hawkesbury while also being the team physio for the Penrith Rams AFL team. He spent three years living in Pokhara, Nepal working in a small mission hospital and spending his downtime riding the surrounding hills on his mountain bike. He is currently studying a Masters of Philosophy (research) through the Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney, studying activation patterns of certain muscles around the shoulder and trunk. Declan has experience treating a wide range of injuries and problems and enjoys helping people get back to good health to help them enjoy life, whatever that may involve.

When not in the clinic he enjoys running and riding up and down the much smaller hills in the Blue Mountains, entering the occasional triathlon and playing hockey on the weekends. Declan and his wife are also very excited because in a couple of months time they will be welcoming their first child into their family.

Ann-Lise has more than ten years experience with a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, post surgical rehabilitation, lymphoedema management and hand therapy. She has completed her Level 1 certificate in lymphoedema through the Australasian Lymphology Association.

Ann-Lise is passionate about providing education to patients on the prevention of and early management of lymphoedema.

Ann-Lise is fluent in French, enjoys bushwalking and has a friendly personality.


Kajaanane (KJ) Arunasalam

Kajaanane Arunasalam splits her time between the wards up at Nepean Private Hospital and the clinic. This gives her a great understanding of post-operative care and gives you a continuity from start to finish. She has additional training in Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates which form a strong basis of her treatment toolkit.

Her level of knowledge has led to her  running tutorials on musculoskeletal examination for the University of Sydney Medical School.

Kajaanane is committed to evidence based practice and is always hunting for the latest research in physiotherapy.

Outside of the clinic, Kajaanane is an avid health and fitness enthusiast. Kajaanane enjoys dancing, travel and being adventurous outdoors, whether it’s hiking in the mountains or kayaking across a lake.

Sam has a fascination for moving correctly, efficiently and safely. Sam graduated as a Physiotherapist from Charles Sturt University in Orange and has since been sharing his fascination to help his clients move in a better way.
He has additional training in Dry Needling and splits his time between the clinic and the Nepean Private Hospital. This makes him a great choice if you are recovering post-operatively.
Sam enjoys practicing by spending time on educating his clients on correct movement strategies and strongly believes exercise is the best medicine, implementing the latest evidence and techniques integrated into the tasks of work, sport and play.
Sam enjoys practicing Tai Chi/Qi Gong and Yoga as well as a number of sports which allows him to bring a holistic and empowering expertise to his practice, making therapy engaging and interesting! Sam also has a strong interest in helping clients prepare for, or recovery after surgery.

Sarah Ennebt has a wide range of experience which sees her working both in the clinic and on the wards at Nepean Private Hospital.

She is a very patient and kind physiotherapist, willing to put in the time to get your musculoskeletal injuries completely sorted.

Sarah has an incredible attention to detail when it comes to upper limb splinting . She is often seen in the clinic making thermoplastic splints which look like pieces of art!

She has a keen interest in the paediatric population and is looking to grow her knowledge in this area over the next years of her career.

In her downtime she likes getting outdoors and getting active. She is an expert in Moroccan food and the team has been reaping the rewards of this!

Brett Dwyer

Brett is a remedial massage therapist with over 19 years experience in the industry. He is currently the massage therapist with the Australian Canoe Slalom team. In 2016 Brett was part of the Australian medical headquarter team for the Rio Olympic Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games team up on the Gold Coast. Brett is very competent in Dry Needling as he leads Dry Needling courses to health professionals within NSW. On top of Brett's hands on skills he has a deep understanding of biomechanics and training needs for all athletes.

When Brett is not in in the clinic you will find him getting out on his road bike, spending time with his young family or out pounding the pavement for his next running event.
