Terms

Terms of use

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms apply to the Penrith Physiotherapy Sports Centre website and to booking appointments through it. By using the site or booking online, you agree to them. Your care itself is governed by your treating clinician's professional obligations and by the information they give you at your appointment.

1. Health information on this site

The articles, condition pages and other content on this website are general information, not a diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by a qualified health professional. Don't delay or ignore medical advice because of something you have read here.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 000. Sudden dizziness with slurred speech, weakness, a drooping face or a severe headache can be a stroke.

2. Booking online, holding fee and cancellations

When you book online you are asked to accept our holding fee and cancellation policy, which is:

  • A $50 holding fee secures your appointment. It isn't an extra charge — it comes off your total on the day.
  • Change or cancel with 24 hours' notice and it carries over. Give us at least 24 hours' notice and your $50 stays on your account and moves to your next appointment — you won't be asked to pay it again.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or don't attend, and there isn't a reasonable explanation, the $50 is kept as a late-cancellation fee.

Follow-up appointments don't need a new holding fee: the one paid at your first appointment carries over and comes off your fee when your course of treatment finishes. The same 24-hour notice applies. To change or cancel, call us on (02) 4721 5567 or use the link in your confirmation email.

3. Fees, Medicare and health funds

Fees are shown when you book, and you can ask reception at any time. Private health fund rebates and Medicare (with a GP care plan), NDIS and workers compensation claims depend on your cover and eligibility; we will process claims where we can, but the rebate amount is set by the funder, not by us.

4. Stable Labs

Stable Labs is our vestibular (dizziness and vertigo) clinic. Some vestibular bookings and the Stable Labs programs are made on stablelabs.com.au, under that site's own terms and privacy policy.

5. Using this website

Please give us accurate details when you book or contact us, and don't misuse the site, for example by interfering with its operation or making bookings in someone else's name without their permission. The content, photographs and branding on this site belong to Penrith Physiotherapy Sports Centre or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to it, but please don't copy or republish the content without asking.

6. Links to other websites

We link to other websites, including booking, payment and review services and Stable Labs. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't operate.

7. Our responsibility

We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that apply to our services. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss arising from your use of the general information on this website.

8. Privacy

How we collect and handle your personal and health information is set out in our privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies from the date shown above. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
